What this checker does — and what it can't
This tool scores five symptom domains that commonly shift in midlife: cycle and vasomotor symptoms, metabolic and weight changes, stress and nervous-system load, sleep and recovery, and mood and cognition. It then flags whether cancer treatment or surgery is part of your history, because that changes what the right starting point looks like.
What it cannot do is diagnose you. Thyroid disease, anaemia, iron deficiency, diabetes, sleep apnoea, depression and several other conditions produce overlapping symptoms, and none of them can be identified by a questionnaire. That is a job for a clinician who can examine you, take a full history and order appropriate investigations.
Think of your result as a better-organised version of what you already suspect — useful for the conversation, not a substitute for it.
A note about “normal” blood tests
Many women arrive here after being told their blood work is normal. Hormone levels fluctuate considerably during the menopausal transition, so a single blood test may not tell the whole story. Your symptoms, your history and your overall health matter too. A normal result does not mean nothing is happening.
Questions about the checker
No. It is an educational triage tool. It cannot detect thyroid disease, anaemia, diabetes, depression or any other condition that produces similar symptoms — and several do. Please discuss your symptoms with a qualified clinician who can examine you and review your history.
About three minutes. Nineteen questions, no email required to see your result.

No. Your result appears immediately on the page. Afterwards you can optionally ask for it to be emailed to you and reviewed by Dr. Sulbha Arya before a session — only then is anything stored, and only with your consent.
Trust the symptom, not the score. A low score may simply mean you are early in the transition, or that something other than hormonal change is driving how you feel — which is itself worth investigating. Book a Mapping Session or see your own clinician.
