What this website is

Redefine Midlife provides education, health coaching and personalised guidance around midlife hormonal health. Everything published here — articles, guides, the symptom checker, programme descriptions and webinars — is general educational information.

What it is not

The information on this website is educational and does not replace diagnosis, medical advice or treatment from your own healthcare professional. It does not create a doctor–patient relationship, and it is not tailored to your individual medical circumstances.

Do not self-medicate

Nothing on this website should be used to start, stop or change any medication, supplement or treatment — including menopause hormone therapy (MHT/HRT). MHT prescribing, when appropriate, requires an individual medical assessment.

If you have a history of cancer

Decisions about managing menopause after cancer treatment, including whether any form of hormone therapy is appropriate, must be made with your treating oncology team. Redefine Midlife works alongside your medical team and never in place of it. Nothing here should be interpreted as advice to alter cancer treatment or surveillance.

The Midlife Symptom Checker

The symptom checker is an educational triage tool. It cannot diagnose any condition. Thyroid disease, anaemia, diabetes, sleep apnoea, depression and other conditions produce overlapping symptoms and require proper clinical assessment. A low score does not mean nothing is wrong; a high score does not mean menopause is the cause.

Testimonials

Testimonials on this website describe individual experiences. Individual results vary, and no specific outcome is promised or guaranteed.

Emergencies

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, or if you have new, severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, contact your local emergency services or attend your nearest emergency department. Do not use this website or its contact forms for urgent medical concerns.

Mental health

If you are struggling with your mental health, please speak to a qualified professional or someone you trust. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline in your country.
